Inspired by the Broadway portrayal of Persephone, Greek goddess of spring and Lady Of The Underground, LOTU’S is a supplement line that helps its consumers “come back to life”. The functions of the supplements, and the branding elements are all intertwined with the iconography in the story of Persephone, and the lyrics of her songs in the musical HadesTown. Every creative choice drew inspiration from the actresses that play her, song lyrics, and visual references used on the stage play. LOTU’S was designed to be eclectic and bold in an elevated way, and to reflect the duality of Persephone’s roles.
